Once upon a time, a group of broke-students-turned-working-professionals discovered that they really enjoyed finding-and sharing-good deals. They created a way to bring deal-makers and deal-takers together, and the Go Discounts Go franchise was born!

The "Official" Version

Go Discounts Go, Inc., the parent firm of Stucount and Workount, was founded by a group of university graduates who, after suffering through four years of the 'always broke' student lifestyle, remembered (all too well) the days of scouring newspapers and flyers for deals on the stuff we needed to live-you know, things like pizza, burgers, beer, jeans, backpacks, laptops, movie tickets, and Cheetos®. We'd flash our student ID cards everywhere, asking, "Do you offer a student discount?" After we graduated, we discovered that, although our buying preferences shifted-filet mignon and red wine instead of pizza and beer, for example-our desire to spend wisely remained. On top of this, we also knew that merchants benefited by offering discounts to aggregate audiences-such as to groups of student and professional audiences-and thus our business idea was born.

Since graduation, we've made it our business, our mission, through this collective of businesses to hunt down and negotiate discounts on the products and services students and professionals use every day.
